Hauling a heavy tool bag with lots of different pliers to the construction site? Not anymore! With the multifunctional pliers for electrical installations, you not only save a lot of weight, but also valuable space in your tool bag. It combines the following eight functions in just one tool: deburring, bending eyelets, holding and gripping, screwing, stripping, crimping, cutting cables and shortening screws. The most important work steps can be completed with just one tool.
Starting with the universal tip of the pliers head, the round side allows wires to be bent easily and without damage to form a small eyelet.
The flat and angular side offers the possibility of deburring plastic parts, such as in flush-mounted boxes. The gripping surfaces offer two options again.
The front smooth gripping surface allows wires to be fed without damage, while the toothed gripping surface behind enables safe and powerful gripping.
The classic burner hole is shaped in a newly developed geometry, so that in addition to round material and tubes, hexagonal geometries can also be used. This special shape also allows hexagonal screws and nuts to be screwed.
For cable processing, the pliers offer the possibility of precise and clean cutting of copper and aluminum cables up to a diameter of 5 x 2.5 mm² / Ø 15 mm, as well as a total of three separate stripping stations for stripping the wires: 0.75 mm², 1.5mm² and 2.5mm².
A crimping station with mandrel pressing enables the crimping of wire end sleeves in the range of 0.5 - 2.5 mm².
The multifunctional pliers from Wiha with an integrated shearing station for device screws offer an absolute plus. Up to a diameter of 3.3 mm, these can easily be shortened to the desired length.
The multifunctional pliers from Wiha also score points when it comes to efficiency and ergonomics. An opening spring that can be switched on and off allows for smooth work, while the comfortable two-component handle protects hands and muscles. When switched off, the pliers can be stowed away to save space.
The pliers are subjected to a routine test in accordance with the international standard IEC 60900 and enable safe work in the area of live parts up to 1,000 V AC.
