The most asked question... WHY doesn't Rolling Sharp hurt hands?

It is because...Rolling Sharp cutter is made of tungsten carbide, (the next hardest carbide to diamond) which creates an extremely hard blade.  For this reason, the Rolling Sharp needs to cut against a hard surface. This special feature of the rolling blade means that the blade will not cut soft surfaces, such as the user's skin.

1. It does take a little practice to get used cutting with Rolling Sharp. When cutting, press down vertically (with some pressure) and push forward/pull toward yourself. Since materials have different thickness, the pressure needed also varies.

2. In order to cut objects effortlessly, it is essential to have a hard cutting board underneath. The harder the board is, the less pressure needed when cutting. We have included a cutting board made of melamine film in each Rolling Sharp package.

3. Since it requires some pressure pushing down when cutting with Rolling Sharp, it is recommended to be used by children who have learned to control the strength and understand the use of a cutter.

4. Please avoid cutting (yours' and others') knee caps, scalp, faces, and any bony body parts. And of course, please do not use Rolling Sharp to attack others.

5. The maintenance for Rolling Sharp blade is simple-add a drop of sewing machine oil to the blade. This keeps the blade lubricated.

6. ...and, for adults and professional paper crafters, we would recommend that you use your regular tools. Rolling Sharp is not suitable for precision cutting. This is a product designed for kids and people who are afraid of using regular cutters/knives.

4. How do I change blade replacement?  Since this blade is made of Tungsten carbide (the next hardest carbide to diamond), as long as we don't use it cutting a diamond, the blade will never break or go dull.

5. Can I use other cutting boards underneath the cutting object?  YES. You can use any hard surfaces, such as metal plates or plywood.
